Attic Buddies Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Attic Buddies. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or using our insulation services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • “Company” refers to Attic Buddies.

  • “Customer” refers to any individual or business engaging with our services.

  • “Services” refer to all insulation, attic-related work, and consultations provided by Attic Buddies.

2. Scope of Services

Attic Buddies provides insulation installation, attic maintenance, and related services. Service details, pricing, and completion timelines are outlined in customer agreements and may vary based on project scope.

3. Booking & Payment Terms

  • A detailed estimate is provided before service commencement.

  • A deposit may be required before scheduling services.

  • Payments are due upon project completion, unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.

  • Late payments may result in additional fees or service suspension.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Customers must provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Attic Buddies reserves the right to reschedule services due to weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances, or safety concerns.

5. Warranty & Liability

a. Limited Warranty

  • Attic Buddies provides a limited warranty covering materials and workmanship. The duration and scope of this warranty will be explicitly stated in your service agreement.

  • Our warranty does not cover: ✔️ Damage caused by pre-existing attic conditions such as moisture, mold, electrical issues, or structural defects. ✔️ Issues resulting from third-party modifications, repairs, or tampering after our service. ✔️ Normal wear and tear, unexpected home settling, or external factors such as pest infestations, roof leaks, or fire hazards. ✔️ Damage caused by customer negligence, improper maintenance, or misuse of installed insulation.

b. Warranty Claims & Process

  • Customers must report any service-related issues within 7 days of job completion.

  • All warranty claims must be submitted in writing, along with photos or documentation of the issue.

  • Attic Buddies reserves the right to inspect and verify any reported claims before taking corrective action.

  • If a valid claim is approved, Attic Buddies will either repair, replace, or provide a fair resolution at its sole discretion.

c. Limitation of Liability

  • Attic Buddies is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from insulation services, including but not limited to: ✔️ Increased energy costs due to unforeseen factors outside our control ✔️ Structural damage from pre-existing attic conditions ✔️ Electrical or plumbing failures unrelated to our work ✔️ Health issues related to pre-existing mold, asbestos, or air quality issues in the attic

  • In no event shall Attic Buddies’ total liability exceed the amount paid for the specific service performed.

d. Customer Acknowledgment

By hiring Attic Buddies, you acknowledge that:

  • Our technicians follow industry best practices, but existing attic conditions may impact service effectiveness.

  • You are responsible for disclosing any known issues before service begins (e.g., wiring concerns, insulation type preferences, ventilation problems).

  • Insulation performance depends on various factors (roof condition, ventilation, air leaks) that may require additional solutions beyond our scope.

6. Privacy Policy

a. Data Usage

We collect and use your data to improve our services and may share it with third-party service providers for operational purposes, but we do not sell your data to third parties.

b. Data Sharing Commitment

We commit not to transfer consumer data to any external organizations without explicit consent, except as required by law.

c. Data Protection Measures

We have implemented strict access controls and data protection measures to prevent unauthorized sharing of user data.

7. Messaging Policy
