SPRAY FOAM INSULATION
The R-Value of spray foam insulation is a bit higher than blown in or Batts. On average, spray foam insulation provides a 7 R-Value per inch vs 3 R-Value per inch of Blown in insulation. In certain instances, you will want to use spray foam insulation.
Spray foam has an excellent noise reduction value and lasts for decades with no shrinkage.
Some applications include work sheds, under floor boards, new construction, recording studios, walls, ceilings and metal buildings.
There are two types of spray foam insulation. Open cell and closed cell. Open cell is typically used for interior applications while closed cell can be used for external applications where the foam is exposed to the elements.
